We look for people who will be involved in the business, managing their restaurant or providing oversight for restaurant managers to maintain an A+ experience for guests — and to optimize the financial performance of the business.

Couples are common in Togo’s

Togo’s is not an absentee model. Frequently, a new Togo’s restaurant is owned by a couple in which one spouse keeps their full-time job while the other spouse establishes the restaurant and guides its growth. Commonly, the second spouse joins the business once cash flow and profitability have hit a target, and the couple then runs the location together or begins to open additional restaurants.

Veterans are ideal

Togo’s loves working with veterans, and we offer a $6,000 discount on the initial franchise fee for their first Togo’s location as a “thank you” for their service and a recognition of their unique attributes. Veterans are ideal Togo’s candidates because they have proven their mettle, they have strong leadership skills, they know how to follow systems with excellence, and they understand how to work as part of a team to accomplish goals. Starting and running a restaurant is hard at first, but it’s simple and straightforward compared to what service members are asked to do every day.
