Six of Togo’s Best Sandwiches Now Available Smaller-Sized
San Jose, CA – November 18, 2009 – Togo’s Eateries, Inc., the California sandwich chain known for its delicious freshly prepared made-to-order sandwiches, announced today it has introduced Mini Classics, smaller-sized versions of their most popular sandwiches. Togo’s Mini Classics feature six of Togo’s best sandwiches on a freshly baked round roll for $2.50 each. The six featured Mini Classic sandwich varieties will include Togo’s famous #3 Turkey & Cheese, #9 Hot Pastrami, #7 Roast Beef, #20 Albacore Tuna, the popular #24 Turkey & Avocado, #29 Chicken Salad, and guests can “Make it a Combo” by adding chips and a drink.
“Our new Mini Classics offer our most popular classic sandwiches perfectly portioned and perfectly priced,” said Tony Gioia, Togo’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Togo’s first introduced their now classic and most popular sandwiches almost forty years ago. “Our guests have told us that they love our classic sandwiches and wanted them sized for smaller appetites and snacks,” said Renae Scott, Togo’s Vice President of Branding and Marketing. “The six new mini classics are a great portion and still stuffed full like you’d expect from Togo’s. We never skimp, especially not on our mini classics,” Scott continued.
Along with Togo’s new Mini Classics the company recently announced a new bread partnership. Togo’s freshly baked bread made daily for more than 240 Togo’s locations is provided by San Diego Baking Company and Artisan Bakers. These artisan bakeries provide the new Mini Classic rolls as well as many other hand-crafted types of bread.
